Truck driver b.s.

Finally cooling down into the 70s tomorrow here in the Denver area. Been rather warm the last few days.

 

Gonna be above 90 the next 10 days here with some heat indexes in the 100’s. I’m stuck on the old spare truck w/o AC. Can’t wait.

 

Uh sorry, no ac I ain't driving it!

 

My truck is supposedly goin to be fixed this week. Truck runs 24 hours a day, three drivers. Maybe if one of us had mentioned it it to management back in march when it started screwing up ……………

My ac was week before I went on vacation. I said while I'm off fix this stuff, on an 18 year old truck I had a list, lol. They fixed it all, ac is cold again, brakes are kinda fixed but still squeal at times. As long as the air keeps working I'm good for the next 6 weeks.

6 weeks to go.......
Vacation next week again, lol. I gotta burn that time up.

Yesterday was miserable hot, today's going to be the same. Truck will never shut off and ac will be on high and probably struggle to keep up. Supposed to be like this for the next 2 days.
Stay cool drivers. I'll be in slow motion.

 

10 o'clock and it's already 87 degrees and humid. Make it stop! Turn off the heat!

 

Good morning drivers, they say it's gonna be 94° with heat index of 100° today . They bought us a pallet of water and some cases of Gatorade yesterday. Sure am glad that Big Ass Fan survived the flood.

Good morning drivers, it was hot yesterday on the yard. Apparently it's slow this week as we are organizing the yard and I'm helping. Of course I have no clue what I'm looking at.

Well I'm taking Friday off as a personal day since we are so slow. So my next vacation starts tomorrow, 10 days off.

 

Punched out at 7.25 hours today. Don't care. Using personal time to get out of here. Off for 10 days now. When I come back I'll have 3 weeks and 4 days to go. Also when I come back I have to come in early for a week to cover the head butt kissers time off. Just trying to get to the finish line.
