Is that pump & hose going to get destroyed in the wheel well or are you going to put a cover over it?

It's not in the way as much as it looks in the pics. But I'll play it by ear, and make adjustments as necessary.

Can't believe im creeping up on 3 years into the build. Crazy how fast the days go by when your head is tucked underneath the hood. Ready to go adventure and spend twice as much time above the hood when its all buttoned up.

Ive torn apart this s/c more than is probably mentally healthy for ones sanity. Not to mention completely ported the original trd sc inlet to match the ported tb and adapter.. thankfully my software skills are just as acceptable as my hardware skills. Really enjoy HPT after some time of familiarization but it has been quite a journey.

Thanks TW for the bountiful and endless resources. I have always crept in the shadows to search, and find the answers to my questions quite easily. Armed with considerable knowledge and assistance from many on here, the current state of my build runs quite well

I’m going to dump the URD UCON EMS and go for the HP TUNER kit…very on and off system. Very unreliable!

I'm finally getting my tune today. Excited but man took awhile to get lined up. For you gen2/1gfre guys, what tune flavor seems to be popular? I'm guessing medium will be my happy place. Any spicy, extra crispy original recipe idk. In the 2.7 pulley range, if you feel like sharing.

Getting a belt for the 2.7 seems to be quite the chore, I may drop it to 2.6 just for that. Plus on the 2.7 I'm getting a reliable 4.5# on the boost gauge, might go lower since I have the room. I want to see what the tune does first though.

The throttle setting really comes down to personal preference—it's highly subjective and can vary quite a bit depending on your driving style and vehicle setup. The best move is to go with your tuner’s recommendation to start. You’ll have the chance to drive it and feel it out, and if it doesn’t suit you, switching to a different setting is easy.
Don’t overthink the names like Lite, Mild, Medium, Spicy, or SS—they’re just a fun internal nod to taco sauces to help distinguish the progression of throttle response. They all make the same power—the difference is how quickly that power comes on relative to your pedal input.
So pick the one that feels right to you, not necessarily what someone else prefers. It’s all about what suits your taste behind the wheel.
