Congrats. We have 3 of them, all quad cab, & love them. Only oddball is my 94 k1500, which I love also.

Also, I don't think anyone mentioned it, but it appears that the previous owner installed some later model wheels.

I think they are stock Tacoma wheels, just from a gen 3 (2016 to 2023).

He’ll love it. We bought the 2013 new, got the 2014 when my paw in law passed, & bought my daughter the 2006 from a member on here last year.

Yes, they are Gen3 alloy wheels, about a pound and a half lighter than the stock steel wheels, but they look good on the Gen2. This set was marked 2018 from a tire shop in SLC via eBay motors and truck freight, roughly $150 a wheel and I quit worrying about wheel offset, and (sing it) I feel fine. Mike #1 (of 3 Mikes) told me to be careful of the hub centers, they're plastic and easily broken (tire shops don't like calling the dealer for a replacement). I figure it's guys getting into Utah thinking desert, off-roading and bigger wheels and tires...

Thanks ! I was going to try to look for pics but you beat me to it. I'll live with the rims but it does make me wonder why the previous owner changed them out. I'm betting he got a good deal.

The truck I'm looking at in the DC area has a lower side bar (step bar?) that really enhances the look of the vehicle...I am also in contact with Katzkin leather to see about getting the seats redone. Expensive, but I plan to keep this truck a long time...

One more thing I'd like to do is remove the side window visors, never been a fan ! Your pics are showing me how nice and clean the truck looks without the visors.

Hey great truck - I too just bought a 2015 MGM TRD Sport lol. I also ended up buying one of these from another TW member -

    Tailgate Theft Protection

It's extremely sturdy and is installed in about 2 minutes.
