Bought two packages in Cali and found tapatio excelencia. Hate buying packages but these were great prices and one was for my cousin. The JD14 was actually really good and quite sweet.

Not sure I’ve told this story.

so the other truck forum I’m on also has a whisky sub that I’m active in. One of the members set us up to do a barrel pick just for the forum. Myself and 3 others did the tastings and the organizer sold the bottles to forum members through the distillery. It was a super cool process. We just completed the second pick last week (doing two bottles a year). Just thought I would share with you all. Neat process and fantastic whisky.

This is a 95% wheat whisky bottled straight from the barrel at 122 proof. It was around 8 years old and an MGP barrel.
