I recently bought a 2023 Tacoma. As I was cleaning out my 2012 Tacoma to sell I realized that it was absolutely, embarrassingly, utterly disgusting. The amount of brown grime that coated everything was horrible. What goes into keeping a truck nice? How much time does it take a week? Its not a work truck, more of a fishing, hunting and camping on the weekends truck.

    thanks

A vehicle is like a house, it doesn't clean itself. You can spend as much time as you want cleaning it or as little. The choice is yours

    Agreed

I take one day a week to walk around to each seat with a garbage can and throw out anything I can. Empty water bottles, receipts, paper towels, etc. I take a dash duster once in a while, shop vac to the all-weather mats and that's about it.

I have the time to detail the crap out of things, but I choose to utilize that time in other ways that are more enriching to my life. If there's dust, I can live with it. If it's cluttered, I rectify it.

I wash & vacuum my truck at minimum every other week. If it’s not raining it’s gets a simple wipe down weekly with no rinse ceramic wash. It’s get a complete detail every quarter.
