Reading through some ABS/Traction threads I'm not seeing anyone mention that their trans is also locked into park. Right now my question is should I be extra concerned about the trans lock out? This happened yesterday while out and about and I am able to push the unlock button to get in gear and drive. No noticeable change in driving/braking.

I'm following the thread(s) suggestions and checking out the connections and speed sensors, I don't have a reader that shows ABS but have found the thread on using a jumper to read ABS codes. Will do that if I don't find anything with the connections or sensors.

Of course it's Sunday and I'm almost 1,000 miles from home to add to my concern. Whoopee.

Check your IG1 fuse (10A) in the interior fuse box, I bet it's blown.

Well poopies. That fuse shows continuity. How concerned should I be the Shift Interlock (Thanks HondaGM) is locked?

So far nothing obvious with the speed sensors wiring.

Did you check that it has power on both sides with it installed and the key on?

    Do your brake lights work?

A failure in the Shift Lock ECU wouldn't cause an ABS light so I suspect a missing Power or Ground.

Here's the 13 shift lock wiring diagram, I don't have the 15 on my phone but 15 should be the same.

10A fuse for the brake lights blew. Wiring for the 3rd brake light on the wedge camper shorted. Disconnected it, replaced the fuse and shift interlock works again. ABS and Traction are still on so it was 2 separate problems. At least now it's legally drivable. Whew.

How would I go about checking for power on both side of the IG1 fuse with the fuse installed?

AAAaaaannd today I start the truck this morning and ABS and Traction light go off as if nothing had happened. Drove about 150 miles today, shut the truck off about 6 times and the lights don't stay on.

    And so it goes.
