Yeah I can relate, ac went out in the house, ordered a new one. Birthday is coming up so I get to go to the secretary of state today and give them a bunch of money for plate tabs and my drivers license renewal.

Years ago an owl flew into the grill of the family car. ( died before he knew it). I called up a taxidermist ( Ct. At the time). To see if I could get it stuffed. He said bury it and don’t tell anyone. Protected species.

Same thing happened here in Michigan once. I was working at a home depot, a hawk flew into the door and broke his neck, killed himself instantly. Same thing, asked a taxerdermist about mounting it and he said don't even touch it, protected species, call the dnr.

Having fun with my velomobile (recumbent bike with a Carbon Fiber shell).

The yellow one is one of the last Dutch-produced versions. HQ remains outside of Amsterdam, but production will shift to Romania.

My son jumped into the white one, and we set off chasing each other through the neighborhood. It's a fly in a neighborhood, so at least neighbors seem to understand the sleek body shape to cheat the wind. Hot summer nights, both had lighting, so we like riding when the sun goes down.

Same old same old around here. Not much ever changes. Yesterday was a break day.. neither of us really felt like doing much of anything. Youngest son called yesterday... says he will be in the area today, and he will stop by. Haven't seen him in a while. It will be good to see him, catch up. We'll make the most of it... don't see either of them very much, we don't travel much anymore.

Murph: The more I use this grill the more I like it. As you know it takes a few cooks to understand a grill. The hot spots are a lot different than the Smokefire.

Tom nice to see you posting. I hope you are doing better. If you ride again this year pm me a link to contribute.

@boatswain I feel your pain. We are going to sign a HVAC contract thus morning. Ouch.

Good morning. Going to the doctor this morning for a Xray of the knee. Hoping the doctor says the kneecap is healing well. This brace is a major PITA.

We are off to the beach this afternoon. Crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge will be stop and go but it is what it is. Wishing everyone a great 4th of July holiday and hope you will be with your family.

Gonna be another hot one here today. I think I'll work in the basement and pull some wire for an electrical circuit. Cooler down there.

We did all right for a change. Basement is bone dry and I mowed the lawn before the deluge. I do have a few weeds to conquer.
