I've had a few from Works components no problems. You could always overfork it? It's at 140mm now right? Changing Fox or RS travel is usually just an airspring.

I'm not really looking forward to heading back East so I had to do one more pre-flight ride.

I have no idea. We were heading back to the bay after sea otter and just hit some random trail ended up losing service so non of the trail apps worked. Got back to the truck as the sun was going down.

in hindsight i should of went back the way we came but i was to stubborn so i just pressed forward hoping ill hit the main trail again

Sick man. That'll go. Haven't ridden one but hear they're actually quite lively.

Yea I wanted something a bit more 'parkey' than a pure race plow. It's like 35% progressive so I think it'll pop nice.

Knee and elbow pad recommendations. Currently have Dakine Slayer knee pads that I feel are good but not great. Thinking about Fox Launch D30 or 7iDP Sam Hills. I mainly use them for big rides on my Levo and the one time a year I hit up Northstar.

I run these. Nice and light with a harder plastic outside on the impact zones but still flexible and fairly breathable. I wear them for enduro racing or when I ride somewhere with bigger descents or more technical. The only downside is they don’t have padding to protect from the frame but they are also much lighter than full armor pads.

i'd have to check the brand i have, but i got some that zip up the sides. pretty nice if i have to do a long climb before a long descent. my shred knee pads are the sleeve style and i mainly use them if i'm shuttling or bike park days.

are you looking for some that are burly for descents or lighter to pedal in too?

I had the 7dips. They would not stay in place and were overall pretty flimsy. Definitely choose the Fox over those.

I recommend IXS, they make super nice stuff and it's usually cheaper than the others. https://thegravitycartel.com

I've had the Fox Enduro knee pads for 2 years now (the ones with D30...not the "pro" version). I got in the habit of putting them on every time I ride. Extremely comfortable to pedal around in. I've had a couple slide-outs with them and they still look fairly new...quite durable. I'd buy them again if I need new knee pads.

I have the IXS ones and really like them. Recommend sizing up. https://www.jensonusa.com/ixs-flow-...FVgedpPsqJgKK9tqkKLFCQpmtJNRslg4aAvDbEALw_wcB

Really comes down to preference a lot of time, as well as leg shape. Bigger claves, things, skinnier, all have different fits.
I get along really well with my Rapha knee pads. Super comfy, long tops, extended coverage, CE Lvl 2 impact protection, never move, breathe well enough to wear them year round.
