I like him. He's just so young and comes across as arrogant, similar to young Denny. The kid is unafraid to put the car where others won't dare. He was not afraid to stuff it 3-wide to make passes all night.

I was sitting in turn 1, and the takeaway from watching the race was that the pavement is aging quickly. The cars could not run as tightly as they did in the past few years. They didn't need help to get a run. The top, middle, and low lines worked if drivers were willing to take risks. Drivers with a good car under them could take the spots if they wanted them. Atlanta is in that sweet middle spot between Fresh Pavement and Worn Asphalt. It's becoming a Driver's Track again.

I'm excited for them to get back to the regular package there. But this was like old school Daytona and Talladega. You can make moves by yourself (even if only for a few seconds) and they aren't forced to be bumper to bumper all race just to keep up.

That was a pretty great race. Sucks that 36 of 40 cars had damage but that is the level of competition I think we all want to see. I feel like Atlanta has replaced the Bristol night race as far as what excitement it brings. For Chase, I think this is the first time I have noticed he actually pushed this gen car. When he faded back to 7th I was like oh shit. Here we go. Old tires, Chase is going to quit. But he stayed aggressive and actually wanted it. I hope this flips a switch for him and he realizes that you have to drive this car like you want to wreck it. Good job #9. Glad the 48 helped him on that last lap because Bowman sure as hell did not do him any favors in the last run until the final lap. And that is to be expected because the 48 needs to win also but the whole reason the 9 kept getting shuffled is because the 48 would dump him at every opportunity. All in all, great for the sport with it being Atlanta and the whole paint scheme deal.
I would like to see the 6 steal a win just to shake shit up now.

One of my Fuel Crew guys took this in Nashville.
Fireworks were well away from the Fuel Tanker.

Do you all bring the fuel from one place all season or just pull from the closest fuel depot?

All the Fuel comes out of Marcus Hook, N.J., right outside Philadelphia.

Tanker that was with me in Lime Rock, CT. Was heading down to Marcus Hook, then headed to Chicago.
It was the same Rig in the Nashville pic. Company has three dedicated to just NASCAR, with two doing the majority of races.
This past weekend had one in Atlanta and one in Limerock.
Both look identical with only minor deferences in set up.

When the big wreck happened, I said, "Welp, Chase is going to win this race." The entire third stage was intense racing. I was happy with pretty much anyone winning, but I was sure pulling for Keselowski and Smith there in the closing laps. Chase (and pretty much everybody else) were absolutely throwing those cars down into turn one like they used to do at Darlington. Stenhouse dove below the yellow line for position once, and I thought we would have another big one.

I thought that Alex was going to pull out a win Saturday night. He had a good car, He just wasn't aggressive enough to stay up front.

I expect it will be Connor Zilisch. He is under contract with Trackhouse and already has sponsorship with Red Bull and Weathertech. He is on loan to JRM for the Xfinity series as TH does not have an Xfinity program. Senior Suarez will probably be calling races on ESPN 8. The OCHO!

100% Connor Zilisch. He's only 18, but he's a phenom. He had incredible car control Saturday night. I think they're rushing him up, but I also think he's ready.

NASCAR has a problem right now with talented drivers with no seats.
Daniel was fired. He was there because Pitbull was a partner and now he is not. I like the guy but he has not performed in any of the quality equipment he has been in since his glory Xfinity year.
