Hi all I have developed a pretty significant squeak in my fox coils. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and maybe a remedy? Seem to squeak right where the coils come together top and bottom.
    Thanks

Try a bit of lube in there and see if the squeak disappears. It will help narrow down that this is indeed the source.

Had the same on my passenger side 2.5. Somehow preload collar “jumped” threads on one side and collar/spring were not sitting flush. Lube made it go away while waiting for new collar to arrive. Swapped out collar a few months ago, luckily threads on shock body still good, cleared it right up. Absolutely no clue how it happened but it did.
