this. Don’t waste your money on the “cool” looking replacements, almost, if not all, have worse performance for actual driving, but they sure do look cool when parked at the local mall-crawl events.

Try polish and restore, if that doesn’t work, new OEM replacements.

I swapped out whatever bulbs were in mine for Phillips Racing Vision +200 (one of the sets that are recommended in the big headlight thread) and it was such an upgrade that I haven't considered any aftermarket headlight conversions since. I like the big shiny halogen assemblies personally, if I wanted a different look the OEM TRD Pro assemblies are a perfect fit and give a bit of a darker smoked look while staying with quality Toyota parts.

The new bulbs were $20 and it was a big difference. Easy upgrade and you might never think about it again afterwards.

Ok guys. I owe you all a big “thank you” for all of the guidance with Dad’s Tacoma. I am done with my punch list-for now.
    -wash and wax
    -windows tinted
-new tires (255/75 17 Vredenstein pinzas)
-bilstein 5100’s set at 1.75”- fronts only (for now)
    -mud flaps trimmed
    -headlights cleaned up

Everything turned out looking just like I wanted. I still have t o road/trail test things but I am very happy. Thanks Y’all!! IMG_4824.jpg

Dads everywhere are happy that you cleaned her up and made some sensible choices. ;) That's a handsome truck!

My only advice is check out the maintenance schedule for your mileage and take care of any items that might be overdue. Most things are pretty simple and it helps you get to know the truck a bit better.
