Sorry for a question that has probably been asked before. I just want to confirm my tire choice before I make a purchase. I have a 2014 5 lug 2wd, 2.7 access cab Tacoma. The research I have done says a 235/75/15 tire should be OK for this truck with no lift, with factory wheels. I am thinking of getting a set of 225/75/15. What I am looking for hear is confirmation that this will work without rubbing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you can go 235/75/15 but that is the max. You will be fine with 225/75/15

    I run 235 75 on OE wheels on my 13 5 lug.

    235/75R15 on original steel wheels.
No problems, but your speedometer will read about 5mph slower than actual speed at 60mph.
Keep that in mind to avoid tickets.

2008 Access Cab (2.7L 2WD AT), same tires (235/75R15). I bought the truck with these tires on it and I find the acceleration lacking, so that might be a consideration. I have no frame of reference with the smaller tires, so there's that, too. Here's the tire calculator in case you haven't found it already: https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc
