Top Sirloin tonight with some smoked salt rubbed on prior to being brought to room temp. Hot sear then low and slow to desired temp.

 

That all looks really good! Tell me more about those biscuits.

 

They're actually store bought crab cakes.. just threw them on to heat them through

Looking into a set and dunno which to choose from

 

Country style last ribs w slaw, grillin beans and cornbread. Wife made some honey butter with local honey and it came out wow.

Today we had bacon cheese burgers, slaw and air fryer fries.
Lightly toasted buns for the win

 

Pro tip
I bend the corners up and fold them over ontop of the cheese so they don’t melt and slide off the burger

Wusthof. Great knives. My wife had these long before we met. The chef's knife in the picture is a replacement. The handle started to swell up on the previous one. I reached out to Wusthof to see if they sold replacement handles, and they inquired as to why. I sent them a picture, and they replied back that they would send a free replacement even though the knives were +/- 15 years old. Who does that? We have a knife sharpener that keeps them very sharp.

 

and what pray tell, would the name of said sharpener be ?

 

I have global knives, and a couple other decent ones mixed in, and a 1000/6000 stone to sharpen on.

Recently - I bought a 10$ kitchen aid knife and a cheap V notch drag through sharpener. The knife goes in the dishwasher, I smash bones with it, I couldn't care less about that knife. As such, I use it the most now....I take it out of the dishwasher, drag it through the sharpener, never have to hone it, and beat the snot out of it. I respect the fancy knife game and have some, but I won't lie, this kitchen aid knife is my go to now.

One piece, no issues with rivets/wood handles to deal with failing.

 

Looks delicious! My pro tip is make the patties bigger so the cheese CAN'T go over the edge
