Hood Release Cable Holder

    The hood release cable came off the lever under the dash. It was an easy fix to get the connection back onto the lever.
    I saw that there is a clip-in plug which holds the cable under the dash that was unattached to the truck body. I suspect that this is the reason the connection to the lever came undone as this caused slack in the cable and the T end slipped out of the lever. As the clip connector (male end) slides around the cable I was unable to find the location of connection spot to lock down the cable.

    Does anyone know where the connector plugs in?
