I was holding on to the bed side otherwise I would have gone to the driveway hard.

Mine just arrived today. I am very impressed with the beautiful finish and very heavy duty feel. This is a very high quality product. Unfortunately I can't install it until I get my pre-ordered SYTH adapter which is about a month away from being available. :turtleride:

I decided to wait until the SXTH Element adaptor arrives, before I buy the step. That way if there’s a fitment issue, I’m not past the 30 day return window for the step.

I thought about that, but I went on good faith and a roll of the dice. :fingerscrossed:

Bed step came in today. It weighs 6.6 lbs total with bolts. It seems sturdy and it bolts up straight with the vehicle lines(I've seem some that seem crocked). The step dimensions are the same as the OEM. It does seem like it might hang a tad bit lower than the OEM step in the up position compared to the one I saw on a truck on the dealer lot.

This one has about 1.25" between the bumper and the top of the step.

I'm also a little surprised how the step bolts on and doesn't seem well supported. I'd be interested if the OEM is the same way. Pic below:

    Edited to add:
Another complaint I just noticed is that I don't really like this loose pin. I don't recall the OEM one doing this. I'll stop by dealer today and check:

That is the same Amazon item I purchased and waiting for the SYTH Bed Step Relocation Bracket. Mine would probably be about the thickness of the OEM Recovery Hook to the outside which works for me to be able to have both.
