I need to mount some bicycle fork mounts on the front rail of a 22 TRD Sport. Unfortunately the fork mounts I purchased have a hole size that won't fit a M8 bolt.

    I've found T-nuts with M8, and T-nuts with 3/8" bolt holes.

I'm looking ones with M6 (if they exist). Does anyone make them, and are they reasonably priced? Or is there something else I should be looking at from one of the home improvement stores?

I guess I could drill out / widen the holes on the fork mounts if I have to, but I'm surprised I can't seem to find something I can use.

    Thanks!

I did a google search for “m6 t nut” and found many. I might be misunderstanding what you are asking for.

Nuts specifically designed for the rails of the Tacoma and Tundra.
Sure, you can find nuts, but dimensionally, they are either too loose or they make grooves in the rail.

I do appreciate the responses I have recieved though.
    Thanks people.

Looking for same thing at the moment for my Driveshaft HM mount. It's difficult to find something that fits the rail properly. I'm thinking maybe to drill out the holes in the mount to M8/ 3/8

You COULD simply post a picture of what you're looking for so everyone doesn't have to keep guessing...

    This and that
I gave up on that search long ago and just use non metric. Drilled everything out to fit the larger size

You are correct. Without a picture, I'm asking a bit much.
I ended up drilling out the fork mounts to fit the M8 bolts and T-nuts that fit the rail best just as @Willy Lump Lump had done.
There is a great hardware store merely one town over, and so I brought a bolt in and picked out stainless washers and lock-washers to fit.
