    :sorry:

It is unfortunate that "adults" can't have a better perspective on their actions.

    3 gallons of gas
1/2 quart of oil - the old New Holland
1 gallon of water - the old man
    9 solid hours...

I have successfully reclaimed the yard from the (neglected) wilds.
Went out at 9:30 and came in at 7:00. :bananadead:

There were piles of blow down that earlier it was too wet to get too, obviously now it is plenty dry so the old Ford was employed to move that.

The NH was acting up, unusual as it randomly throws belts but normally runs just fine.
Turned out to be a fuel issue so the snow blower loaned it a gas tank.

    20250705_134622.jpg

BTW, a snow blower tank doesn't last all that long feeding a hard working 15hp engine - that was a long walk, uphill naturally.

    now i want to know!

one will visit and ask for money, a bedroom, and meals for free, and one demands more of their 'fair share' of the will?

Spent the holiday working at the homesite on the farm....It was finally dry enough to run the tractor. I need a dozer or brush mulcher but I'm cheap and we aren't going to start the build till 2026. It's been really slow.

    Morning folks :hattip:

Guess I need to do some yard cleanup, garage, and there's several bird bombs on the Subie, so day looks busy. Just gotta get out there and do it o_O

The old home place is still standing and about 100 yards south of this location. This is what it looked like after the guy that pushed the driveway in took out some of the brush and trees so we would have a place to burn brush. IMG_0854.jpg

Wandering around Slowes today I spied this nice looking mower on clearance.
    I wasn't looking for a mower...

    20250706_161315.jpg

Clean, hardly any hours, even the blade is sharp - obviously I haven't used it. ;)

    20250706_161337.jpg

It was marked $75, so I found a nice young fellow there and asked "any chance you can do a bit better?"
    He said "How about $50?"

However, things aren't as rosy as they seem...

    20250706_161236.jpg

It would appear that something important exited the block. :rocket:

Going to see if a Predator engine is a swap.

It doesn’t have a bent crankshaft, does it?

Doesn't really matter, something let go in the engine - it's junk.
