Hey folks, trying to debate if I can do the rear bearing swap on a 2013 TRD.

The question is, does the bearing hub need to be pressed onto the rod?

I can either buy the hub with the bearing already pressed in or I can buy the complete prepressed axle bearing hub with the rod.

    Thanks

Yes a press and a special tool are required it’s a pain but not terribly hard job. I purchased the hub and spacers snap ring hub studs from Toyota I purchased a koyo rear wheel bearing same as the oem. I got the tool from Amazon. After your done with the tool it works great for bottle rockets.
