Man, props for your determination and ingenuity! Does make me glad I went the JaketheGardenSnake tape route though!

Sorry, man! I posted that I used that method awhile back and figured you'd decided to go the "goop" route. I have plenty of it left-over if you want to stop by... :D

Can confirm a CT125 fits in a 3rd gen long bed if you cut off the lower part of the fender!

lol, I prolly saw it and didn't register. Amazon can have it here in a week. They seem proud of it.
My Google Fu incorporated the wrong key words, using Versys X 300 took me to what those guys had been doing. Several video's from guys doing it this way as well with various "glues". Some mentioned the tape coming loose at higher speeds. Could have just been from poor prep though.
On the bright side, if I had gone thru with the 7 day stuff that I ordered, I would be right peeved off if it had leaked. So just lost a day so far.

Can't go wrong with any of his vids! Always entertaining and usually informative.

It is thick stuff so I was a bit shocked when I took the tire off just a month later to put it on the correct direction. The tape looked/felt like it had been shrink-wrapped to the inside and I can't imagine how it could come loose. Of course, my top speed with a +2 rear sprocket is about 80-85 and I rarely get her going that fast...

I loved his CRF vids. I never even looked for his other stuff. I watched a few of the CFMoto and whatever sumo bike he bought. Sherco?
