Ignition 2009 Tacoma

Hello, I just inherited a 2009 Toyota Tacoma TRD5 speed standard truck. Sometimes when I start it, I need to put my foot on the break very hard then the clutch then crank it and it’ll start sometimes it won’t start at all for several tries and I’ll take the key out. Go through the whole thing over again put my foot on the break then the clutch then put the key in and turn it and sometimes it starts. Do I need a new ignition or ignition coil or does anyone have some other ideas? Thank you very much
