    lol. ask any plumber. that doesn't count towards drain pipes.

    if i was still working construction, i'd take pictures tomorrow of new jobs that pass rough inspection. but i'm not, so use your imagination!

    so they added a doggy door in the middle of the wall?

    really, the only major issue is the drain line that's going to back up on the washer.

    it's an added wall, so it's non-structural, which makes for carte blanch on what can be cut out.

    the washer line using all the 45's and such is just bone-headed to use that many fittings. clearly, that hasn't been inspected. could've probably fit it into the cavity without obliterating the one stud if they had ran the vent line straight down instead of a weird 45.

    it's also apparent that the original rough-in was cut right at the left side of the picture by the insulation, evident by the nail plate still installed, where everything to the right of that point doesn't have any nail plates at all.
