Does anyone have a link or part number to the spring/wire assembly that mounts under front passenger seat, that releases the seat lock and allows seat to slide on rails?

Seat will recline and collapse normally, but the spring/wire that releases seat lock has broken under passenger seat and will not allow seat to slide fore/aft.

    Thanks in advance

I haven't seen sub component part numbers for the seats before. You might be better off finding something close from McMaster Carr and modifying it.. And if that's not your style, then start looking for a used seat.

I recently swapped the seat cushions on my 1998 truck. It would help if you could take a photo of the part that broke that showing where it goes and post it here.

New replacement seat PARTS for First Gens are generally not available from Toyota. If anything, they will have "Assemblies", which are clusters of interacting parts.
And seat PARTS and ASSEMBLIES are generally not available at dismantlers or from owners doing a "part-out", because they generally will sell only whole seats, even if those seats are incomplete.

Why I asked if yours is an Extracab: The passenger seat in the extracabs came with a feature that allowed a passenger to simultaneously fold the seatback forward, and move the seat bottom forward in one operation. This was to facilitate entry and exit from the fold down back seats. A unique cable (not on the driver's seat) tied together the two operations. An extensive thread here on TW https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/solved-passenger-seat-track-problem-ext-cab.433074/ discusses these problems.

If you can separately fold the seatback forward and move the seat bottom forward and back, but not together, then I suspect that you are talking about this unique function in Extracabs that allows the passenger to do these in one operation. In that case, the answer is: That cable is not available. Believe me, I have tried!
