4wd light constantly flashing, I change it with a oem front actuator and light still flashes, the fork won’t move when I attach the electrical wire to the front actuator? What can it be? I take it to Toyota and they diagnostic says wires and ground is good… transfer case is good…. Did I just get a shitty built Tacoma?

Sounds like something isn't lined up right and the tech notes state the bolts were loose. I'd give the dealer a little more time and money to remove the actuator and see what they come up with.

Yeah, don't go doing a kamikaze dive off a cliff with your truck quite yet. Give the dealer (or another shop) a chance to fix whatever is not right.

Might look around for a reputable 4x4 shop that does Tacoma's and have them check it out unless you feel more comfortable with the dealer. I’m lucky that I have a good shop close who does a bunch of stuff to Tacoma’s and are very familiar with them.

Did you check the transfer case actuator? Have them put your truck up on a rack, or jack stands only if you know how to safely use them, so all your wheels are off the ground. Shift it into drive and then shift in to 4wd and take a look to see what's spinning in front (front driveshaft, wheels, and BOTH axle shafts). If the front driveshaft isn't spinning it's your t-case actuator. If the wheels and/or front axle shafts aren’t spinning but your front driveshaft is, then it’s your front differential.

You should be able to pull and push the actuator connecting rod in and out a bit to shift the transfer case after you loosen the actuator, could you do that?

As said before, a good diagnosis is an important start.

I’m also curious if you have done any water crossings with your truck. If so, I bet your transfer case actuator died from being flooded.
