    IMG_5024.png IMG_5026.png Is the converter cover really needed , number 7 inside 5 on diagram? Seems to just be a cat cover and it’s rattling when accelerating IMG_5024.png

    I imagine that CAT puts off some heat and that shield helps mitigate damage.

    Might just be the clamp that holds the shield pieces together is loose or broken. I had the same prob on my 2nd gen and a hose clamp was all it took to solve the rattle problem.
