Hello, so i really want these wheels for my 00 tacoma extended cab. These are the first set of wheels ill ever buy for my vehicle. I want to know if these will cause rubbing or any other problems. The size is 215/50/r17 rims size is 17x7 and i think the offset might be 42. I have done my own research and most tire specs ive seen with 17" wheels were 225/45/17 is the 215 and 225 a big difference. If they will be a problem i wouldnt mind changing the tires if i do get the wheels. A other thing keeping in mind is that im going for a street look i plan on lowering it a little bit later on not too much tho since its a daily. Hopefully this made sense and i get some advice. Thanks in advance for your help. These how the wheels look. I just like how they look and the condition is like newScreenshot_20250702_171952_Facebook.jpg

    What is:

    1. Hub mounting interface, stock is 67.1mm
    2. What's the 5 lug mounting interface, stock is 5x114.3mm

What is the drivetrain in your taco?

If the wheel ET is close to stock it should fit. The 2000 5-lug lists as coming with either P195/75R14 or P215/70R14 tires stock. Your tire choice is about the same height, perhaps 1/10th inch shorter, than the smaller of those 2 stock sizes (195/75) and the same sidewall width as the larger factory option (215/70). You could also go with a P205/55R17 to push the diameter up a little to match the stock 215/70 tire.

I'm running P235/60R16 on my stock 2004 Tacoma 5-lug, but my later stock suspension is a little higher. They fit well.

Have the seller send a pic of the backside and have them measure the inside diameter of the center hub. If it isn't 67.1mm, you will need more $'s to make these work. What vehicle did they come off?

Thanks for the replies. The guy tried mounting them on a chevy hhr but they didnt fit so hes selling them. the chevy hhr has a 5x110 bolt pattern and i think thats why they didnt fit. Im not sure what car they originally came off of and im assuming the seller dosent know either. And for the center hub, lets say for some reason they dont fit, will hub centric rings work? I might go check them out. Can i use a measuring tape to get and idea of whats center hub size? The center hub size of the rims might not be a perfect to the stock size but id hope its not gonna be a big problem. And another thing if the bolt pattern of the wheels are 5x114.3 and the tacomas bolt pattern is 5x114.3 the oem bolts should fit on the new wheels right? I hope so

Not too many manufacturers use 67.1 hub/bore size nowadays (it’s on the large size)
Many Hyundai Elantras do(a few others)
2004 Elantra rims what I’m running
Perfect fit(bolt on ZERO issues….including front center caps)
    225/75/R16 tires

So the bore is too small.

How about these KIA 17" rims: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256944149337

The offset is a bit high but might still work. width, Bolt and hub fit are good to go.

So i bought the wheels and they seem to have bolted on pretty good. Since im not a wheel expert i can use some advice or what are things to look out for with aftermarket wheels that may be a sign of a problem. I know my bumper is fcked up right now but that will be fixed soon but the wheels dont rub suprisingly.
