The tread is not great at 20 years old so I would actually go with new tires .
Waiting on the Husqvarna phone line to open up this morning. My mower is a 2005 Husqvarna (Kawasaki engine) and my SILs mower is a 2017 Husqvarna same model except engine .. His Briggs and Stratton is shot . Possibly swap my engine onto his mower and I will be in business. He bought his mower at Lowe’s my was purchased at an actual dealer.

I took one off Cole's 1960 something J.D. 110 and had a tube put in it last year. Pretty sure it's the original tire, it's bad cracked and hard as a rock. When I went to pick it up the guy told me the tire was about shot and how tough it was to put the tube in it. I handed him his money and said "why you think I brought it to you?"

What are the model numbers of both machines?

With the model number you should be able to see the parts diagrams on your computer.

We got some search wizards in this thread that will love to do that hunting for you if don't feel comfortable.

I don't think calling Husqvarna is going gain you much, to be honest.

At least ONE of those Search Wizards is currently zonked out on pain medication. I was trying to put off my hernia surgery until the fall, but realized about 2 weeks ago that that wasn't going to be an option. So anyway I had the surgery Wednesday last week. So I have a 4-in cut in my gut at the lower right side. Not fun, much worse than the hernia surgery I had in 2016 which was laparoscopic. I thought I had been doing much better up until Tuesday, but then Wednesday morning when I woke up I had a whole new set of problems with trying to have a bowel movement. That seems to be getting a little better as of this afternoon. I'm the kind of person that usually just takes 2 or 3 pills out of the bottle of pain medication that they give me. But not this time.

Last time I used my little car hauler trailer, I tested the breakaway system and discovered it does nothing. The box test button and LEDs hadn't worked in a while, but the system was still functional last fall. I discovered the box was full of water and the battery was reading 3 volts.

I found the identical unit that the manufacturer used and swapped it out today. I hate how mass-produced trailers are wired. Everything is just wrapped and spliced together, no proper junction box. This trailer is a Big Tex - not sure if other makes are any better in this area, my previous Pequea was even worse than this one.

I left all the excess wire on the new box and spliced/wrapped it just like they did - it looks good enough and works. When I have an actual wiring issue, I'll redo it my way with a junction box, but it works for now:

Are there any drain holes in the box it’s sitting in?

Yes, can't see it in the photo but there are a couple holes apart from the bolt holes for the box.

I think water got in over the winter since snow piles up there and melts. I plan to cover the tongue for next winter.

Shin?? We used to pedal those things barefooted.

I'm surprised to hear that, as the Big Tex trailers always seem to be of a high quality build when compared to other brands ( at least around here)

The trailer itself is nicely built and the wiring does have a dedicated channel built in for it - my gripe is really just that everything is spliced together instead of using a junction box.
