    Hey folks,

I just purchased the Icon RXT multirate leafs. Planning to install in the option 3 configuration because I run around loaded down. Wondering what rear shocks would be a good way to go with this spring. A fella at 4wheelparts said 5100s would be fine, but I was looking and it seems they are much too short for that kind of lift (2.625” - unloaded, 1.125” - loaded w/ 600lbs). Have been scrolling the forums and seen some folks recommend Bilstein 5125s, but they seem to require some modification to the bushing for the lower mount. Is this a simple/easy modification?

I’m also considering the the Icon 1.5-3” shocks, but they are a would be able 150-200 more than the Bilsteins for the set. Does anyone have experience with this rear spring (in option 3) in 2nd gen’s?

Any other knowledge of what I would need with this setup? Shims? Longer brake lines? different bumpstop?

    thanks for any help.

Here’s the truck during a parking lot oil change on a hunting trip to NM from TN last season. Living out of the truck for about a month while also hauling a couple bird dogs and hunting. As you can see it takes a lot of weight and the stock springs got wore out. It now has a pretty good squat even unloaded.
