Tiger Taco lives in Fremont. At least, within the last year I’ve walked by his truck at night a few times on Woodland Park Ave., I think is the street. He definitely gets around. I’ve seen him in Columbia City a couple times too.

This was mine, loved it for the 2 years I had it, I left it un-locked wherever I went, I didn’t have to stress, especially at the park and rides.

I'm just gonna post up more Subaru hate.:rofl:

Spent half the weekend swapping header gaskets on our 2014 Forester XT. What a pain in the dick. Thankfully, I didn't have to pull the entire turbo, but the turbo outlet studs came out with the nuts. Well, all but the one that broke off.

Took forever and the loss of many bits to drill that out. Cleaning up the threads, I was able to get full torque on it and just used some bolts instead of finding studs.

Given that what I thought was boost solenoid noise is now gone also, I suspect that one missing header nut was never on there. This particular noise was there for a few years. Yeah, bad on me, but it was impossible to diagnose as it only made noise at max boost while moving. Power braking wasn't allowed to build enough. Never threw a CEL.

    Fuck these PoSs. :D

Also, Fuck Amazon for sending incorrect gaskets. Props to Milfuckee and Dremel for saving the day.

Just as a note, this is a stock Forester. No mods other than a K&N.

The header nut was MIA at the blown out area:

    Dremel'ed out that mismatch:

IMG_9975.png See that car right there? Its exhaust manifold was glowing hot back in May. Hasn’t moved since and my wife is pissed I won’t touch it, but will tear into a Tacoma. I have a distain for working on it. It kills my back going under the hood and I don’t fit underneath it.

Hahaha! Same boat, sorta. My wife is pissed because I keep hating on her purchase.

What is causing it to run that hot? Failed gizmos usually tend toward rich?

It is incredibly nice to work with the Taco on its wheels. I had the Forester on the big stands just for room. Still, it is mostly built for assembly. They imagine they have been quality than exist real life for them.
