    Hey all,
Inside the cabin on the passenger side of my 2001 Tacoma V6 4x4, I’ve been hearing this odd chirping or squeaking noise. It almost sounds like a baby bird—but I’m sure it’s not!! The sound only occurs when the engine is running, and only in warm or hot weather, so I’m certain it’s mechanical in nature.

My blower fan works perfectly, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Take a listen, this video was taken on the passenger side right under the glove box area....

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

    Y

I'll move the temp setting and try that and get back to you... I should add currently the temp setting is on "max cold" but my a/c system is not working right now as the magnetic clutch has failed and I have the fuse pulled and a/c pulley disconnected but I don't think this is related to the sound I am trying to diagnose
