KN cold air intake, Fox 2.0 coil over with 3" lift, 1"front diff drop, 285/75/16 TKO2 w/1.25" spacers,
    2002 v6 4wd auto quad cab
I replaced front suspension with Fox 2.0 coilover and rear with Fox 2.0 shocks. Had the same on the truck for over 80k and liked the ride. Replaced rack bushings. Right wheel bearing. Both lowers again. Icon uppers awhile back that seem to be holding. Added Nitto Grapplers 285/75 16.The front was realigned with the new tires.

Feels like I’m steering a boat. Very stiff and slow.
Am not getting the ride out of the new shocks like before either. Only difference is that before I had same size BFG TA TKO2.
I hit a bump on the freeway and it feels like I’m rattling and bouncing down the road.
Going to flush the power steering but don’t think that’s the issue.
Open to ideas to check on. Thanks.

I am by no means an expert, but I've been doing...A LOT of reading and research on replacing my front suspension (LBJs, UBJs, Outer Tie Rods, Coilovers, etc.). I did some work on the rear when I first got this truck about 2 yrs ago and discovered one of the shocks was totally shot and replaced them with the Fox 2.0s, and had planned to get the same for the front, but since then the cost per coilover has been price bumped twice to $100 more per coilover.

The point is, the Fox 2.0s made for the 6 lug 2001-04 PreRunner (and likely for all of the 2.0 line) are rated for approx 50k miles under normal use before they need to be serviced (new gaskets, fluid, etc.). "Racing Shocks" are reusable and meant to be rebuilt/refurbished, but the trade off is that you generally get less mileage out of them before that needs to be re done. Any qualified suspension shop can do it or you can contact Fox directly and ship them off to them. It's likely this is the problem, but with all of the recent changes you described....really any one of them could be the culprit.
