    I know this has been discussed.
    It is not for fog lights.

    I’m pretty shure they still run the wires even if you don’t have the option that would have been in the blank switch.

    They run the wires as one harness regardless of trim level, and the money difference on the manufacturer's end is not installing whatever module they went to. That plug however is a very handy convivence when wiring illumination for DRL or night time driving. All the aftermarket switches I have run backlight are spliced off that one wire (I believe it is the green however you should probably fact check me on that, it has been a while since I've looked at it.)IMG_8390.jpg
