Debido a un error de traducción, tuve problemas con la publicación anterior.
Mi problema es con el cierre de la tapa del maletero del camión.

He rediseñado el trabajo. Lo he simplificado. Solo tienes que doblar ligeramente hacia adentro el extremo que conecta con la tapa del maletero del camión.

Battery light came on. Didnt test it but assumed it was the alternator. bought a used one for $90 and swapped it in. took 4 hours. Was a bitch to get the electrical connector out of the old alternator, and was a bitch to get the used alternator in because the bearing was sticking out, few taps with the hammer and it was back in

starter motor not alternator. starter is located like right on top of the frame rail on the passenger side. for whatever reason on the automatic its worse than the manual.

I recently replaced my alternator with the 105A Denso, and I found it was much easier to unbolt the alternator entirely (both the tensioner and pivot) and then "set/fold/pivot the alternator down in the engine bay" in order to get the plug out. Was still a pain, but much easier to get a pair of pliers onto.

105A alt vs. stock. Same housing, same pulley profile, uses same belt, but the connector and positive post are in slightly different positions (still easy to use)

Sportsman's guide metal crates are on sale for $60. Welded hinged on the back and chained it to the back of the bed.

I second this upgrade. My alternator went out on the way home from a camping trip last summer. I had to grab the house battery from my FWC and put it in my backseat and run a jumper cable out the window and under the hood to get home.

I took the chance and ordered this Denso 210-0461 for a geo tracker. All that is needed to make it fit is drilling out one of the threaded mounting holes on the alternator. Now it puts out a constant 14.1V which is great while running accessories, lights, winch, etc.

Drivers side rear brake was dragging AGAIN- not as bad as last time, but still annoying that I keep having to back it off. Last time I did the rear brakes I used all new Napa components- drums, shoes, and hardware kit (springs, adjusters, etc...) At this point I can only assume the adjuster isn't working properly. It advances every time I use the parking brake resulting in the brakes being over adjusted. So I bit the bullet and ordered all new OEM drums, shoes, brake hardware, bell cranks, and new parking brake cables and some of the associated hardware for those, total $1k. :censored:

Las cajas metálicas de la guía Sportsman están a la venta por $60. Están soldadas, con bisagras en la parte trasera y encadenadas a la parte trasera de la caja.
