Was out this weekend, nothing crazy but when put into 4H the front end made a bunch of noise especially when turning and the truck bound up a couple times, get home and look underneath and there is visible ware on the aluminum transmission housing where the front drive shaft is rubbing. Any ideas what broke?

Is your front diff not mounted properly?

That rear diff mount needs examined. It's gotta be flexing up/forward to make contact there.

Yeah front diff mount at rear seems very likely. The stock mount (crossmember) is not particularly strong and has been known to pull out when running big tires.

Also check that your diff housing (tube on passengerside) didn't get bent/twisted
(same fellow... Maybe it was said in the thread, but it seems this may have been collateral damage from the mount breaking):

Thanks for this, I checked and for sure the diff mount blew through the cross member. Welds_taco reinforcement kit looks like a fix, hopefully the passenger side diff extension tube hasn’t twisted but not feeling great, the passenger side Cv is leaking. Wish me luck!
