    Blast from the past!

I haven't heard a Flowbee mentioned since the TV ads back in the 70's-80's.

Still in business & made in :oldglory: too.

    Morning folks :pccoffee:

Got a bit of a job to do at a friends house at the end of the month. She seen what my water softener setup looked like and has been debating back and fourth about getting one. Yesterday I ordered the same water softer I have along with a 800K gallon water filtration setup.

    https://aquasureusa.com/collections...ons-whole-house-water-filter-treatment-system

Her water has always been terrible, so it's an attempt to clean things up. It's a shallow well so it's not pulling the best water. Been using a sink mounted Brita filter for years for coffee. Hopefully this will eliminate that, we'll see. We help each other with stuff so this will be a no charge install. I actually like doing this stuff.

Early in the pandemic, George Clooney said he cuts his hair with a flowbee. I’d check the website periodically and they were on backorder for years.

I’ve considered getting one but never pulled the trigger but I did get a haircut that looked like it was done by a flowbee..

Good morning, friends! Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday :hattip:

Guy in front of me hit a deer this morning not far from the house, I saw it run out, fly up, flop, and die. He pulled over in a nearby church parking lot so I pulled in and ask was he okay. He said yeah that's #10 :eek:

It busted one of his headlights and mashed the hood up real good but was still drivable.

I notice the deer are migrating out around here as well. I would probably just plow into one with the Tacoma, the WRX it would probably fly over the hood in the air

OK, it really isn't that funny, but the mental image in my head of it made me chuckle to myself.

I saw this Toyota yesterday and immediately said to myself, self, that has a body lift on it. THEN I noticed what the body lift consisted of o_O:facepalm:

They are everywhere. I saw 4 in the driveway this morning and probably another 8 on the way in. I've hit 2 and almost hit 20+ since we moved 2 years ago.

Before they cut the field behind me last week they loved that field. I've only seen doe's in all the years I've been here. Every once in a while during the summer I'll get a whiff of something awful and sure enough one got hit just down from the house :puke:

I committed grinder blasphemy yesterday. The DeWalt grinder I bought at the sale recently was missing the handle. We had a handle at work. The handle had M10 threads and the grinder had M8 or 5/16" but now has M10 threads :anonymous:
