Just compiling information into one spot in case it’s useful to anyone else!

We’re talking about the GST Chrome wheel that came on many Tacomas in the Gulf region, and as such, they are common enough in those states.
They seem to be less known and seen elsewhere in the country as I have found many are not familiar with them.

I’ll just toss in the information I have and what others have found as well. If I see more I’ll add it as I can.

Here’s the part number on the center cap, I know it says it’s for a Tundra but I can confirm that it fits just fine.

Here’s a shot without a center cap installed.

    And one with the cap.

Transcribed from the pictures below we are looking at:

    • Prime - Made In USA
    • DOT-T
    • #929-GST
    • 16x7 J +30mm

They do not take the flat mag style lug nuts that most Tacoma wheels use.

These are my old ones and they are the correct acorn/tapered cone.

I tried some “tuner lugs” but they were a smaller cone and I was not comfortable with the contact patch on the wheel, maybe that was a valid concern, maybe not.

Here’s a comparison of those with the proper chrome ones.

Howdy, thank you for the information. I have the exact same wheels. I realized yesterday I'm missing a lug nut on one wheel. Sorry for dumb question but I am a noob and need some help please: do those lug nuts have a part number I can search into for and order? I've been looking for past hour on Google and not really finding anything. I also looked on forum and 2nd Gen OEM parts pdf posted here with no luck. If not, do you have recommendation on what I should do next? Wanting to do things the right way here if that even exists. Still learning how to approach wheels. Other stuff I just follow factory service manual, order parts, and follow processes in the FSM. This seems different. Appreciate any help or tips I can get.

    Thanks.

No dumb questions when you’re trying to learn, all good. I’m sorry I did not reply, I haven’t been on here much the past couple of years.
I hope you were able to find the information you needed and get that replaced.

I know it’s too little too late but here’s the information for reference, for you in the future or for others.

They are the Bulge Acorn style lug nuts, 12x1.5.

Thank you very much for the reply. I actually got busy and still haven't done this task. Trucks been sitting in garage ever since. The information is extremely helpful to me. I will get to looking online for a source to order these from. Thanks again.
