Waiting for the sun to rise so I can work on the truck. My kitchen table is covered in electrical stuff.
I started the compressor wiring with the new relay last night. Going to finish the remote start main harness and put that in first.

Hey CT,

Which dealerships are you guys using. I’m waiting on a truck from Wallingford but they aren’t budging on the price, at all. I’ve bought from Stamford twice before but no beans there either. Anybody have a good experience somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

In my case I bought the 2013 Tacoma (NEW) form Middletown Toyota
Newfield St. Middletown Ct. 860-347-7294, my salesperson was Bob Magnano, and recently bought a 2025 Rav 4 PREMIUM (April 7-2025) visit their web site.

In my case I didn't have any issues.

Good morning CT.
Had the day off yesterday.

Installed the main harness for the remote start and the antenna for it (with antenna wire).
Pulled the wires out from the firewall and found a much cleaner way to run all the wires including the front camera wire.
I have the harness for the compressor built. I need to bolt the relay in so I can cut the wires to their final length.
I may change the ARB connector at the compressor to a weather proof one. I finally went with 10 gauge wire.

Let's see if I can do any of this stuff on lunch. I work this Saturday so not much free time.

 

BIL bought a '25 OR Hybrid from Greentree last month.
They moved on the price a bit and gave him a decent price on his '15 AC.
No issues.

bad experience with wallingford toyota. they were quick to take my deposit on a specific tacoma i was looking for and told me they would get it for me. 4 months went buy and i ended up finding exactly what i was looking for in mass on my own and basically had to fight to get my deposit back from them.

 

In my experience (my one time buying a Toyota new) the best and least expensive place to do so within a day's drive was Maine, Berlin City to be exact

[& I'd love if they stopped sending me mailers wanting to buy the T4R I sold in 2019]

 

Also: This weather sucks.

& this is normal. Mild, even.

For lack of a better phrase... We live in North Florida. Been saying this for years. The humidity makes the CT of now feel like literally nothing like the CT (and NY) I used to know.
