I recently got my 2025 TRD Offroad a couple of weeks ago. When I took delivery, I noticed some marks on the door panel, but at the time, I thought it was just dirt/water spots. Upon further inspection, it seems like this is some scuffs/marring on the top door panel. I tried cleaning these with an interior detailer, but the marks are still there.

Not sure if this happened when they prepped the truck, but curious if others have been similar scuffing and any pointers on how to remediate/get rid of them. Not sure what the dealer would do, if anything, given I believe that panel piece is a part of the whole door panel (I think).

Looks like physical damage that has scuffed the surface. Maybe it happened during assembly of the truck?

A quick pass from a very small flame (like a butane soldering iron) might collapse the raised plastic tufts and make them less noticeable. I can't think of any other potential solution that isn't replacement.

I would definitely take that to the dealer first.

I used a heat gun to remove watch scratches in the cheap plastic door panel of my old 22 Tacoma. There's plenty of videos on youtube about it. Be extremely careful, work your way up to it, and don't get cocky. My understanding is it goes from "wow this works great" to "I just melted my door panel" in a few millimeters. I used a "medium" setting on the heat gun.

Really hoping the 4th gen are more resilient...have one on the way.

But again, this is warranty work, you bought a new truck, it should be in perfect condition...take it to the dealer.

Weird, just saw a post on FB about this. Scratches don't look like OPs so probably a different person. His were more like scratches vs dimples. I haven't noticed anything on mine yet, but it's less than 2 months old. Mine is an SR5, not sure what trims came with the softer materials or if that's what OP has.
