    Question.
I verified all my front end suspension parts were good and no issues/ truck was properly aligned by reputable shop before hand/ and tires all at proper inflation.

About 2 weeks ago or so, I noticed the front pass get side was “slightly lower”

measured front side from ground to top of frame above tire and it’s about 1/4 “ lower on passenger side. Went and looked at my leaf springs and noticed clip on passenger side was bent.

Would/ could this make truck slightly lower ?

Would replacing clip restore even height to truck or would buying two new leaf springs be ideal for this situation ? Original leaf springs on truck. All other 3 clips are also old but aren’t bent like this one.
Just curious to be honest. Any advice will be helpful.
    Thanks!!!

Naw, that won't effect ride height in front or back (the alignment/rebound clip that is). 1/4" ride height difference isn't so bad for a 30 year old truck is it? The difference in height could be due to so many factors at this point I can't imagine it's worth messing with, especially if it aligned well and it tracks straight. Your ass in the seat probably evens her out anyway.

Very true lol it’s always the driver side that sags in most cars so this one threw me off lol

What other suspension parts should I look at again that may affect the height ?
Just a fyi, My upper and lower control arms never been replaced ( I have a 2WD)

Anything can be worn at this age. Springs can sag, (front or rear) bushings break down (suspension and cab), frames can tweak ever so slightly without major events causing it....etc

By the way, when you measure height - don't go from the ground when comparing corners, instead use the hub center as a fixed point. Did you just buy the truck and you're trying to refresh the suspension? Or is that one particular corner triggering you and you want to address it?

    Ohh yeah totally understandable.
Funny you say that because I went and remeasured this morning from center hub to top of wheel frame and still was .25 “ lower on passenger side.

Refreshing up suspension. I always have a “slight deviation right” but not a pull. More gradual feeling due to the curvature of the road when driving. Only thing I have NOT replaced in the front are the uppers/lowers control arms. I replaced the shocks (all 4) about 5k miles ago with KYB SHOCKS and made sure they were compressing up and down at the same rate before installing so I’d be shocked if it was something with the shock as my drive feel hasn’t changed

Like I said, the “sag” caught my eye a few weeks back so I wanted to get some info . It’s literally me being paranoia then anything else lmfao
