    Solved, bent pin.

    Hey all,

I had my 2020 doors painted with the paint recall. Come to find out about two weeks later, my rear passenger lock was not working via electric. Seems it’s just been unlocked. The manual switching of the lock works fine. The other three doors work fine. I have not pulled the skin off yet but is this someone that could just be unplugged? I have yet to found a good video that goes into it. Mostly it’s around burnt out parts and how to fix it. Wanted to see if it’s something simple like disconnected at the drivers door or if I just have to take the doors down and look. It looks like they took all four doors off to paint. Hopefully just unplugged.

Sounds like a loose or disconnected plug at the actuator in the rear door.

Why not take it back to the shop that did the paint work and have them fix it?

Shouldn’t the shop that did the paint recall make sure the electric lock works?

Stop being Minnesota nice / passive aggressive. Use direct communication with the shop. The same advise holds for the current and future significant others in your life.

Thx all, im going to bring it back to the dealership. It’s like 96 all week here so i don't feel like pulling the door apart to look. Hopefully something loose.

As an update, auto body place Bent the pin for the lock switch hookup. So they just bent it back in place and working as intended.
