    Hi folks,

I am a long time Toyota owner having bought my first Tacoma in 2012 -a double cab. It's just about to turn over 300,000 kms (that's 180K in miles for you folks south of the border) It's been a great truck but this past 8 months I've had to put a lot of cash into it. It's been my work truck mostly (I'm a bee keeper) and used to get me into my outdoor places for peace and quiet.

I'm joining this forum to learn from others how to keep things going on this truck to get it through a few more years, (I just can't afford a new one) and to get ideas/advice on adjustments and upgrades I need to do for certain activities -eg. trailing a small RV suitable for 2. I've seen a few photos for folks with trailers and wonder how well the taco tows them and what upgrades they needed to do.

I'm also wanting to install a good roof rack as I enjoy canoing and want something now a bit more stable than four foam blocks directly on the roof.

Looking forward to some conversations. Thanks
