I just installed the Bilstein 5100 level on my Tacoma and want to go up to 285/70r17. But I have the stock 4 runner wheels that have a 15mm offset and I’m super worried about rubbing on the UCA. Will those fit and if not what about a 275/70r17?

I rubbed with 285/70R17's when I had 0 offset. Switched to -12mm and it got better. Still occasionally rub too. From what I've read, every truck is slightly different.

If you want function over looks, get the 33" 255's. More clearance, no hassle, less drag, less wear on front end components, you get to keep your mud flaps, etc...

Did I mention gobs more clearance...

    Lol gobs more clearance.

Side note my 285's and 295's sure seem to function just fine. Besides fuel economy, that one is hit n miss

Every truck is a touch different. Which model 4 runner wheel? I bet it would be really tight. I know a 265/70r17 fits on a +30 wheel so I dony see why it wouldn't. I had a pile of room with my 17x9+1 and a 285

SnailTrail4x4 did a video on YouTube on this issue of 285s on stock rims and the minimum to clear. I havent watched it for a couple years but I think 15 will clear UCA. It did not take much.
