    is that why his name is crossed out? that's how i ended up here, trying from another thread to figure out what that meant lol. he can be insufferable, but generally harmless...

    unless overuse of ellipses is a bannable offense...

    I don’t think anyone has said it yet but is your “scraping” noise by chance a bent drum or backing plate? My bad if I missed that already being discussed, but if not it seems plausible.

    Yea, in terms of a noise, I would check axle runout. The axle flange being bent can lead to some scraping noises in the backing plate area. That would be the next thing to cross off my list.
