Frankie just wants to play with Ira my 17 year old chihuahua so she brings him a toy and waits in his kennel till he gets back from his morning lap of the house.

Me and the Pitties out for a quick errand (Kroger pick up) yesterday morning... One of the older lady's that bring out the grocery's always ask to take pictures for her FB page thingy...

The big head on the right side of the truck is pushing 80 pounds and is the good one in the truck, I don't have to worry about him being bad, even in the house, But the low rider (red nose) is a little 54 pound heathen, she is the one that will jump over the barrier into the front seat, I have also caught her paws on my fang soft bed cover, so now I have to keep the back window closed, she also will put her paws on the window opening and I am afraid she will scratch the paint, the panels are covered, so now I have to keep an eye on her... lol

My new good boy, Murphy. Retriever mix, maybe Duck Toller + Golden

My daughter found him at a shelter near her and I saw the pick and asked her to go get him and we went and picked him up about a month ago. Maybe a year old.

Has heartworms but we'll sort that out - just started his antibiotics (which kill the bacteria that are essential to HW life cycle). Young enough so that likely no heart damage has occurred acc. to vet.

Hes a maniac for food...he was 42 lbs at intake of the shelter, maybe needs to be 55. Prob 50 lbs now.

This is right after grooming. Found some blackheads (yes thats what the vet called them) on his belly but 2 treatments with benzoyl peroxide shampoo has almost eliminated them.

    Such a good boy.

Good looking puppers! The markings are Toller like and the color is like a Golden. But look at those paws! I bet when he gets going, better stay out of his way :)

    Congrats!

Yeah hes going to be a big boy eventually. He was so skinny when we got him, hips and ribs stuck out but his legs and paws were always very solid.

Such a great dog...looking forward to many years of companionship and fun with him. Im glad he'll be fully treated for heartworms by Fall as I bet he loves colder weather.

    Sorry for your loss...

She's got a thick neck lol... Them Pitty low riders will surprise you at how hard they can pull... Did she and Fritz play hard and rough together??
My 2 Pitties play hard together, and it is funny watching them play with a rope, they start at one side of the room and he will drag her across the floor to the other side, then get up and do it all over again, then he will jump on the couch and she will run hard at him and jump and slam her side into his side, it's the funniest thing ever, like kids playing while watching wrestling...
I will load them in the back seat of the truck and go raise the garage door and turn around and the truck is rocking side to side hard, I have to get on to them to calm down...:rofl:
Once the truck starts to move they are looking out opposite windows for the rest of the time... Great dogs, I love my pitties... The grumpy old man just puts up with them, if they get on his nerves he will bark at them to calm down or go to another room... lol

They got along mostly but were jealous pots. She doesn’t “play” like normal dogs do. Of If I got a stick she’s in red zone mode immediately and I gotta watch she doesn’t bite my hand off lol. Not long before she anhialates the stick the little Raptor. She will play with him and when it gets rough she snaps and he gotta school her. She’s a nasty customer but he was highly intelligent and didn’t put up with her moods. He was quick to bust her up good but she kept coming at him even after he put some wounds on her. He was scary fast with very long canines. Not the pit we know that is stubborn and bites hard but a deadly assassin who would inflict fast and vicious damage. I had Alaskan malamutes, Grest Danes, mastiffs, and pits, but this dog could out box me quickly where my fingers were bleeding or I had enough. She’s not a play along dog. Once things get heated she goes into the red zone. I rescued from a local paws and was told she was a Texas hurricane rescue. But the neighbor twice (his fault for fuckin with her) and ran a bicyclist up the road I thought the sheriffs were comin. But Fritz was the dangerous one. He was a calculating ninja assassin who made some drug addict piss himself when he decided our woods were ok to take a dump in. Total gentleman in public and a thorough chick magnet. Coulda been a police dog as disciplined as he was. Super intelligent knew sketch from harmless. I’ll never have another like him and probably going with another out after the summer. Those German dogs will steal your heart and show you what loyalty is really like when it’s all about you and no one else. He wouldn’t even go out and go potty if I was still asleep in bed no matter how bad he had to go. Stayed by his kings side no matter what and would die before leaving my side. Irreplaceable
