new phone issues.

Good day all.

I had a samsung s10 plus since I bought my 2023 limited tacoma, all worked good.
Had to replace phone with a s25plus this week.

Problem.
When my phone rings or I get a text notification the radio does not turn off I hear the ringtones then talking if I answer, both thru the radio.


Any clues to the settings, old phone worked great, as soon as I received anything from the phone the radio would shut off and phone take over.

 

I would try having the head unit forget the S25 Plus and re-pair it. Watch carefully to the Permissions prompts on the head unit to make sure you are giving the S25 Plus full Permissions.
