Raptor lights that don’t suck?

nah, scoop comes from the factory. no tacoma is wide enough to require clearance lights. it's like putting tow mirrors on your truck when you don't even have a tow hitch.

 

You are absolutely correct and have shamed us all - although I do have an excuse as I have been called a "judgmental prick" on this forum, so . . . . .

 

I'm not saying you can't post your dislike of Raptor Lights/Grill Lights...by no means.

But when one person does it...it's like giving permission/green light for everyone to join in the dogpile. lol

Anyway...what were we talking about? lol

 

The ad says they don't work for OR models, but that is what you have - do you have a Pro grill, or do they actually work in the stock OR grill?

 

^^^This^^^ ...and the "real" ones only have 3 lamps grouped in the middle: not four. ....and they are complimented with two additional single lamps on each front corner for a total across of five. Just like on the roof of a tractor-trailer. I don't think I have ever seen them in the grille of anything but a Raptor.

Well I just want to say I changed my mind . . . . I think Raptor lights are fine because I pointed them out to my grand daughter and she likes them. I asked her if they were girlboss . . . . . she just looked at me funny so I'm not sure about that but she does like them so - so do I.

I was close to swapping a heritage grill, raptor lights, other stuff and went the opposite direction. Now it's stock grill which I've bonded to, unused vinyl trd stickers, unused other stuff, and basically a clean look with C4 front bumper and diamondback. I may put in hidden things such a puddle lights, but I think not doing these "upgrades" on an obviously non-stock truck is more unique. I like the flat hood without the pro scoop, too. Edit: I would consider the SR5 grill. I like that look a lot.

Same. I thought I wanted bling too but slightly understated is better.
Too bad I put my SR5 grille and chrome trim ring in the trash about 6 months ago because it just sat around my basement or id offer it to you for free. Didn't know any one wanted those.

Our Tacomas wearing DOT wide-load warning lights would be comparable to its driver asking the 711 clerk for Magnum condoms... Neither will fool anyone

I like the look of the grill of my Sport at night...it's plugged in to only turn on with headlights.

 

Mine aren’t Raptor lights persay, when im in Camping mode or inclement WX, or driving in BigCity ill turn mine on.. & can leave them on All most two days before it Kills the Battery.

 

That's a "Light Bar" which has way more intensities than Grill Lights! lol
