Just finished cam gear mod and on startup realized hose below back of plenum was not properly reinserted dumping lot of radiator coolant. Fixed the issue and adding more fluid to radiator to replace (just less than a gallon so far) but seems I dumped more than have added. Just took truck for a short ride running air con and temps seem just a hair high. Am I following proper procedures to replace coolant I dumped???

Have not yet. Video above makes no mention of it. Going to check levels again and take truck (2014, base, 4wd, 4.0, stock) for short drive. Will squeeze hoses before I leave with cap off. Did a search for burping system and will do so tomorrow.

Ok, I get it now, running it up to temp with cap off and air con on max to push any air out of system. Took it for 6 mile drive just now and temps stayed right in the middle. When I squeezed upper hose with cap off before leaving it pushed coolant out. Will do other procedures in morning.
