    The pic in my handle? That’s from West Germany, before the wall fell. 2 Reforgers during my 36 month tour. Fricken awesome days!!!! Bavaria is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. Bad Tolz Germany is heaven on earth

    Only done Landstuhl, and Heidelberg…though I did take advantage of the mid tour break @ Edelweiss in Garmisch. Gorgeous!

    I did hike high enough in elevation to pick edelweiss in the wild, I was a lot younger then.

    It’s a great bottle. When I first picked it up a few years ago, I was disappointed in it, but I let it sit and as it’s opened up, it’s a great pour! Brown sugar bomb, oak, and really smooth with some warmth to it and a nice mouth feel. I’m not great in describing what I taste but it’s really good, one of my favorite EC bottles.

    I went with KC18 for the after dinner sipper and…to my surprise, much prefer the EC18 over the KC18. At least tonight I did! Both bottles are a few years old, but the KC18 seems much more oak forward and dry. That EC18 bottle is really good!
