Those trickstuff pads you sent when I bought the codes off you were solid…they died a tragic death during a wet 50 mile race haha.

I replaced with MTX gold and red and those have been great too. I still prefer TRPs but codes with that setup are good.

What are you catching those lunkers on? Just went out yesterday, caught a few little guys on a Caddis that they were hitting. But none of the bigger ones were rising. Thinking of trying some sow bugs, drakes, or rainbow midges.

I always had better luck on these green sowbugs around the Provo moreso than anything else. Elkhair caddis was usually my #2.

Yea... got XO T-type on the wife's new XC rig and it just seems so much burlier without a derailleur hanger involved.

The mention of the dust getting in the line reminds me that I haven't put a new shifter cable on in a while. I will likely do that and see if it helps. I also have some new Schwalbe radials ready to go on and the brakes feel great right now with a fresh bleed and pads.

Anyone here ride in the Flagstaff area or have trail knowledge of the area? I'm going to be out there and looking to ride July 25-27th so any input would be great...

I go pretty far out to where the fish doesn't see much pressure (the Big Lost Range). I actually only used Parachute Adams and Elk Hair Caddis in size 16-ish seems my eyes are getting pretty bad. Also, all were caught on a 3wt 7'6" sage so they felt like great white sharks. I almost never nymph when I'm in home waters.
