    Has anyone installed or know of a good alternative to the oem torque converter? Fluid flush and instant shutter fix have only temporarly worked and its time to change it. I can't see paying 1400 for a torque converter at the dealer. 2005 4x4

    If Aisin offers one, that'd be the way to go. It might even show up with TOYOTA molded in it, as they make the transmission in the first place (and many other Toyota parts).
