Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
...aaaaand, it's pouring rain. Popped up in the last hour. Radar doesn't show anything else likely to hit here. There's probably a dozen small showers popped up within about 50 miles.

Woo hoo! I was able to book a fishing trip on Lake Huron for August 1st. I got lucky.

Fishing on Lake Huron is a lot of fun. If you have not gone out trolling on Lake Huron you really should book a trip.

Here in Ohio we have had a 3 or 4 week stretch of high 90s and low 80s at night. And rain at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Honestly Carl, I do not know if i will be able to go due to the broken knee cap. I have a doctors appointment on Aughst 6th and I have been doing everything the doctor asked me to do. I would hate to mess up 6 weeks of healing by trying to get on and off a 28ft boat. The step down and up from the gunwale to the deck might stress the tendons attached to the kneecap too much.

I have already offered up my spot to anyone else in the family that would want to go. My plan is to drive my wife and son to the dock and meet them when the boat comes back to the marina then join everyone for a lunch of fish right off the lake. I would love to go but not at the expense of my kneecap.

Good morning. The boatride last night was a bust due to the thunderstorms in the Annapolis area. Time for my AM walk then put gas in the wifes Avalon. Need to go shopping for dinner too. Going to cook up a chuck steak for dinner tonight.
